Loretta Bobb is the Director of Accounting (MidAtlantic) at BoostED Finance. Prior to becoming Director of Accounting, Bobb was the Accounting/Grant Manager at Catapult Learning LLC where she managed an accounting team of four providing back office support for 12 charter schools (8 in Texas and 4 in Florida). While at Catapult Learning LLC, Bobb’s responsibilities included the oversight and management of all charter school accounting functions, monthly financial presentations to school districts and board of trustees, grant management, development of annual financial budgets, review of monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements, cash management and management of the annual financial audits. Prior to joining Catapult Learning, Bobb relocated to the USA and worked for Parkway Corporation and JFK Behavioral Health as General Ledger Accountant responsible for preparing the monthly financial statements for 12 companies and 4 government agencies. In the United Kingdom, Bobb gained accounting experience in multiple service industries working for Marsh & McLennan (Insurance), Vertigo Films LLC (Film) and the British Broadcasting Company (Media) within the capacity of Management Accountant, Controller and GL Accountant. Bobb holds a BBA from Andrews University (USA), a BSC from Oxford Brookes University (UK), ACCA-Part Qualified (UK) designation and is currently an MBA candidate at Villanova University (USA).
